Carthage Cement CEM I 42.5 N-SR3 is a sulphate-resistant Portland cement for projects where exposure conditions require a specific binder. The manufacturer's data sheet limits tricalcium aluminate, C3A, to a maximum of 3%. This characteristic helps distinguish the SR3 reference from general Portland cement grades when preparing a technical specification for an exposed structure.
The documented applications include gypsum-bearing ground, seawater exposure, sewerage works, ports and certain agricultural or aquaculture facilities.
