1. Define the products and purchasing criteria
A commercial name is not always enough to compare offers. For a cable, specify the reference, cross-section and number of conductors; for tiles, the format and finish; for raw materials, the required grade and application. Include technical requirements and expected documents in your message to avoid unintended substitutions.
2. Build a clear quotation
We review the requested products, variants, units and packing. Any alternatives are identified explicitly. The proposal sets out the selected references, quantities, payment terms and agreed delivery arrangements. Lead times and availability are confirmed for the specific transaction.
3. Prepare the shipping requirements
The destination country, delivery point and handling constraints guide the shipment planning. State any palletising requirements, fragile items or specific documentation needs. Transport arrangements, each party’s responsibilities and the applicable documents are defined in the quotation and order.
What should I send with my first enquiry?
A list with a description or reference, quantity, unit, variant, application and destination. Add any timing constraints and known technical requirements. An incomplete enquiry can still be a starting point for discussion.
How are equivalent references handled?
Tell us whether alternatives are acceptable and which criteria should be compared. A similar photograph or name is not technical approval. The final choice must be confirmed before ordering.
