The TeSys LRD family includes thermal relays for motor overload monitoring. Current range and trip class are reference-specific.
A thermal overload relay does not replace short-circuit protection. Its combination with a contactor and upstream device is part of motor-starter coordination.
For maintenance, record the existing relay and contactor codes. Also specify current setting and required reset mode.
