VAC203P is a vinyl acrylic emulsion for industrial formulation. The vinyl acetate and acrylic ester copolymer is unplasticised and stabilised with surfactants and cellulose derivatives. Stated applications include interior and exterior paints, impregnating primers.
This grade is specified by solids content (25 min at 150°C): 49 - 51 %; viscosity Brookfield (25°C, sp. 5, 20 rpm): 7000 - 12000 cP; minimum film-forming temperature: 6 - 8 °C. Compare grades using the stated measurement conditions. Validate the binder and other ingredients in the intended formulation and production process.
The stated packaging is a 160 kg drum. Store in closed original packaging between 5 and 30°C, under the conditions stated in the data sheet.
