PVA950BV is a vinyl acetate emulsion for industrial formulation. This plasticised vinyl acetate homopolymer grade is stabilised with polyvinyl alcohol. Stated applications include wood, cardboard and paper adhesives, waterborne paints, fillers and coatings.
This grade is specified by solids content (25 min at 150°C): 49 - 51 %; viscosity Brookfield (25°C, sp. 6, 20 rpm): 25 000 – 35 000 cP; minimum film-forming temperature: 9-11 °C. Compare grades using the stated measurement conditions. Validate the binder and other ingredients in the intended formulation and production process.
The stated packaging is a 160 kg drum. Store in closed original packaging between 5 and 30°C, under the conditions stated in the data sheet.
