PROKIL VEO 550 AF is a vinyl versatate emulsion for industrial formulation. The vinyl acetate and VEOVA copolymer is unplasticised and stabilised with a cellulose derivative. Stated applications include interior and exterior paints, semi-gloss and satin paints, decorative paints.
This grade is specified by solids content (25 min at 150°C): 54 - 56 %; viscosity Brookfield (25°C, sp. 4, 20 rpm): 4000 - 7000 cP; minimum film-forming temperature: 12 – 14 °C. Compare grades using the stated measurement conditions. Validate the binder and other ingredients in the intended formulation and production process.
The stated packaging is a 160 kg drum. Store in closed original packaging between 5 and 30°C, under the conditions stated in the data sheet.
