CO28X70 is a short-oil coconut fatty acid alkyd resin for industrial formulation. This raw material acts as a binder in the industrial preparation of paints and varnishes for the stated applications. Stated applications include stoving paints and enamels, clear and pigmented polyurethane varnishes, nitrocellulose varnishes.
This grade is specified by solids content (35 min at 150°C): 69 - 71 %; viscosity Brookfield (25°C, sp. 6, 20 rpm): 35 000 – 50 000 cP; viscosity Gardner at 25°C: Z6 – Z7. Compare grades using the stated measurement conditions. Validate the binder and other ingredients in the intended formulation and production process.
The stated packaging is a 190 kg drum. Store in closed original packaging between 5 and 30°C, under the conditions stated in the data sheet.
