The range covers two separately selected functions. A current transformer (CT) supplies a secondary current proportional to the primary current; its ratio is expressed in amperes/amperes. It connects to the current inputs of measuring instruments or protection devices.
A voltage transformer (VT, also called a potential transformer or PT) supplies a secondary voltage proportional to the primary voltage; its ratio is expressed in volts/volts. It connects to voltage inputs on compatible measuring instruments or relays.
Suitability for measurement, metering or protection depends on the selected model’s class, VA burden and insulation level. This is a range sheet; ratios and ratings are defined for the requested configuration.
