PowerLogic METSECT5MC060 measures alternating current by supplying a proportional secondary current. It is intended for electrical measurement and metering through a compatible 5 A current input.
The accuracy class / rated burden combinations for this reference are: class 0.5: 12 VA; class 1: 15 VA. The VA burden applies to the complete measuring circuit, including instruments and wiring. These are metering accuracy classes; protection duties require separately verified characteristics.
The solid core requires the cable or busbar to pass through the transformer during installation. Check the conductor dimensions and the required aperture before selection.
