AFROCHIM FIXO PLAQUE is a bonding mortar for indoor plasterboard installation. It is applied in dabs to bond boards to the substrate and accommodate irregularities within the installation method. The powder is mixed with water to prepare the required amount. The manufacturer states a setting time of approximately one hour, so cutting, positioning and alignment should be organised before mixing.
Specify the board type, total area and wall substrate. Check the installation system and flatness defects to be accommodated. Distinguish the bonding mortar from the jointing compound so that each stage is included in the supply plan.
