Sika® Aer-5 is an air-entraining admixture for concrete requiring a network of fine bubbles in the cement paste. It supports mix designs exposed to freeze–thaw cycles. Air content must be monitored during trials and production because it depends on mix composition and mixing conditions.
Select this admixture against the concrete mix, cement, aggregates, temperature and transport time. Performance must be checked with the actual production mix: carry out suitability trials before fixing dosage and manufacturing parameters.
