SikaSwell® S-2 is a one-component polyurethane sealant that expands in contact with water. It treats construction joints and concrete penetrations and can secure compatible swelling profiles. Bead position and concrete cover must match the specified construction detail.
A watertight joint depends on movement, geometry, water exposure and substrate material. Continuity around corners and penetrations matters as much as straight runs. Design the assembly and associated products using the structure's details and manufacturer instructions.
