Sikagard®-199 Agent Antidérapant is a surface treatment intended to reduce the slipperiness of smooth mineral materials when wet. It irreversibly modifies the vitrified ceramic surface rather than forming a resin coating. A limited trial allows assessment of the resulting appearance and intended effect before treating a circulation or shower area.

Before treating an existing floor, identify the exact material and test an inconspicuous area. Check the effect on slip behaviour, colour and ease of cleaning. This treatment changes the surface, so compatibility and appearance must be validated before full application.
