Sika® Primer-11 W is a preparation primer for absorbent substrates before bonding or mortar application. Typical substrates include concrete, cementitious or anhydrite screeds and plasterboard. For indoor use, it forms part of preparing surfaces that will receive a cement-based adhesive or self-levelling material, with the treatment selected for the substrate’s absorption.
The primer is part of the installation system: establish substrate, absorption and the tile adhesive or leveller to follow. Check adhesion of existing coverings and surface compatibility. Drying and overcoating times must suit site conditions.
