40 kVA diesel generator

The 40 kVA diesel generator offered by Phonie Motors uses a Deutz BF4M 2011 engine. Its sheet states 40 kVA prime and 44 kVA standby output at three-phase 400 V, 50 Hz. The documented open and soundproof versions have a 100-litre tank; installation dimensions depend on the selected version.

Sizing should distinguish prime and standby duty and account for current surges and motor starts. A commercial power designation alone does not define PRP or ESP rating, voltage or phase count. Specify loads, required controls, acoustic requirements and installation conditions. Maintenance access, heat removal and refuelling should be assessed for the offered version.
