STRAMIFLEX wood-veneer edge banding carries the wood appearance onto the edges of veneered boards. End-jointed strips of natural or reconstituted veneer form the band, with a listed thickness of 0.5 mm. It coordinates the edges of fronts, shelves and fit-out components with their visible faces. Select the species and finish with the overall grain and colour scheme in mind.
Choose the edge band to match the board thickness, face décor and workshop bonding process. Allow sufficient width to trim both edges and identify straight or curved sections. Check a board-and-edge sample before fabrication to achieve a consistent appearance across the furniture, and confirm compatibility with the selected adhesive and machinery.
