Calcium carbonate

Tunisian calcium carbonate is a mineral filler used in paints, plastics, sealants and adhesives, depending on the grade. SOFAP manufactures this product family in Tunisia and reports exports to several African markets. Grade selection depends on your formulation and the required properties.

For paints and coatings, specify the required fineness, whiteness, purity and oil absorption. For plastics and PVC, also state the process, particle-size distribution and any surface treatment. Request a grade-specific technical sheet, a sample for trials and the certificate-of-analysis criteria.
