Sika Boom®-400 Fire is a one-component expanding polyurethane foam for sealing wall joints subject to fire-resistance requirements. Its Combo aerosol supports gun application or use of the supplied nozzle. Fire classification depends on the tested assembly, so joint dimensions, substrates and installation procedure must be verified.
For a fire-resistant joint, performance applies to the complete assembly. Check substrate, orientation, joint width and depth, and the additional components required by the classification. A fire-resistant product alone does not establish the performance of the whole assembly.
