Sikagard® Conservado SP is a colourless impregnation for limiting runoff-water penetration into compatible façades and roofs. Supplied ready to use in a water-based formulation, it suits materials including brick, concrete and roof tiles. The treatment preserves substrate porosity and also aims to reduce soiling.
Substrate porosity, condition and exposure determine suitability for hydrophobic impregnation. Clean and prepare as instructed, then test absorption and appearance. Surface water repellency does not replace treatment of cracks, joints or identified water-entry paths.
