Sikaplan® G-18 is a 1.8 mm PVC membrane for exposed mechanically fastened roof systems. A polyester grid reinforces the sheet, and seams are hot-air welded. Selection must consider the deck, insulation and fixing layout together so that the membrane remains consistent with the complete roof specification and installation details.
Design the roof system for wind loads, substrate and insulation. Plan fixings, welds, upstands and drainage with compatible accessories. Membrane width, thickness and version must match the roof specification; installation is for experienced applicators.
