Sikaplan® SGmA-18 is a 1.8 mm PVC membrane reinforced with glass fleece for ballasted roofs. It is loose-laid in the documented configurations beneath protection selected for the roof’s use. Separation layers, protective loading and drainage must be considered when choosing the complete build-up and planning the membrane installation.
A ballasted roof must be designed for protection weight, substrate and insulation. Check separation layers, upstands and drainage. Select the membrane and accessories together, using installation and welding procedures consistent with the documented system.
