AGL 52 is a medium-oil linseed alkyd resin for industrial formulation. This raw material acts as a binder in the industrial preparation of paints and varnishes for the stated applications. Stated applications include passivating primers, architectural and furniture paints, marine and structural steel paints.
This grade is specified by solids content (30 min at 120°C): 49 - 51 %; viscosity GARDNER at 25°C: Z – Z1 (2270 – 2700 cP); oil length: 51 - 53 %. Compare grades using the stated measurement conditions. Validate the binder and other ingredients in the intended formulation and production process.
The stated packaging is a 190 kg drum. Store in closed original packaging between 5 and 30°C, under the conditions stated in the data sheet.
