PROKIL PA500 is an acrylic emulsion for industrial formulation. The aqueous copolymer combines butyl acrylate and methyl methacrylate; the formulation is designated APEO-free. Stated applications include satin, gloss and semi-gloss paints, decorative paints, marble agglomerates.
This grade is specified by solids content (25 min at 150°C): 49 - 51 %; viscosity Brookfield (25°C, sp. 5, 20 rpm): 3 000 – 7 000 cP; minimum film-forming temperature: 14 - 18 °C. Compare grades using the stated measurement conditions. Validate the binder and other ingredients in the intended formulation and production process.
The stated packaging is a 160 kg drum. Store in closed original packaging between 5 and 30°C, under the conditions stated in the data sheet.
