PVA860BV is a vinyl acetate emulsion for industrial formulation. The data sheet describes a vinyl acetate dispersion suited to nozzle-applied single-component adhesives and jointing. Stated applications include cardboard and paper adhesives, carpet backing adhesives.
This grade is specified by solids content (25 min at 150°C): 59 - 61 %; viscosity Brookfield (25°C, sp. 5, 20 rpm): 2000 - 4000 cP; minimum film-forming temperature: 13 – 15 °C. Compare grades using the stated measurement conditions. Validate the binder and other ingredients in the intended formulation and production process.
The stated packaging is a 160 kg drum. Store in closed original packaging between 5 and 30°C, under the conditions stated in the data sheet.
