SETTING ACCELERATOR setting admixture

AFROCHIM SETTING ACCELERATOR is a ready-to-use liquid admixture that accelerates the setting of cement-based preparations. The manufacturer describes use with Portland CEM I cements for work on running-water surfaces and stopping water ingress. Dosage depends on the leak configuration, and the mix is prepared at the time of treatment. It should not be selected as a general-purpose admixture without checking the application.

Specify the available cement and the nature of the water ingress. Prepare the work area and quantities that can be used immediately. For routine concreting, have the mix design and compatibility with the project specification separately validated.
