Sikagard®-552 W Aquaprimer is an acrylic primer for preparing concrete and compatible mortars before water-based Sikagard coatings. It improves the bond between substrate and finish rather than acting as the final protective layer. It can also be used over selected existing water-based coatings after their adhesion has been checked.

Select a primer with both the substrate and the coating that follows. Check porosity, cohesion, moisture and any previous treatment. Follow the system's recoating window and consumption to maintain continuity between preparation and finishing.
