Sikagard®-706 Thixo — Cream-form hydrophobic impregnation for concrete

Sikagard®-706 Thixo is a cream-form silane impregnation for concrete in buildings and civil-engineering structures. Its thixotropic consistency helps the product remain on the substrate during penetration. It reduces the entry of water and dissolved substances without forming a surface film, while maintaining the concrete’s ability to transmit water vapour.

Substrate porosity, condition and exposure determine suitability for hydrophobic impregnation. Clean and prepare as instructed, then test absorption and appearance. Surface water repellency does not replace treatment of cracks, joints or identified water-entry paths.
