Sikagard®-8500 CI is a surface treatment intended to slow corrosion of reinforcement in concrete. It combines a penetrating action with a latent-phase inhibitor activated by cracking or moisture. It forms part of a protection or repair strategy for structures, including humid environments without hydrostatic pressure.
Select the protection system after assessing the concrete, cracks and expected exposure. State water, chemical and weathering conditions. Check preparation, primer and finish layers together to maintain compatibility across the complete treatment.
