Sika® CarboDur® S is a range of carbon plates for increasing the capacity of structural elements following design assessment. The pultruded profiles are bonded to the structure using Sikadur-30 adhesive within the selected process. Applications include beams and slabs and other compatible substrates for load changes, repairs or structural alterations.
Structural strengthening requires assessment and design of the complete system. Geometry, fibre direction, anchorage and adhesives are defined against the substrate and loads. This reference belongs to an engineered process using the components and checks specified for the project.
