Departure and Incoterms

Sea shipment is assessed from the port of Radès, Tunisia. Depending on your request: FOB Radès, or CFR / CIF to Abidjan, Dakar, Lomé or Douala, subject to quotation. The selected port, included services and any inland transport are specified in the offer.

Availability and lead times

The schedule distinguishes availability or production, export preparation and sea transit. Estimates depend on the reference, quantity and selected sailing and are stated in the quotation. Tell us when you need to receive the goods.

Packaging

Packaging is defined with the manufacturer for the switchgear assembly: dimensions, weight, lifting points and transport protection. Request the dimensional drawing and handling instructions to plan receipt.

Standards and documents

The export file includes the commercial invoice and packing list. Request technical data sheets, declarations of conformity and manufacturer test reports for the selected reference, subject to availability. Applicable NF, IEC or EN references are those in the proposed product’s documentation; mentioning them does not certify every product.

Preferential origin: AfCFTA or COMESA

For goods manufactured in Tunisia that meet the applicable origin rules, an AfCFTA or COMESA certificate of origin may allow preferential customs treatment in a partner country, depending on the product and effective concessions. Eligibility, the required certificate and any benefit must be checked with the freight forwarder before ordering. Shipment from Tunisia alone does not confer Tunisian origin.

State your requested quantity, including a single cubicle. Supply feasibility, the complete configuration and production or packaging constraints are reviewed in the quotation.

What lead times and payment terms should I expect?

Availability or production, export preparation and transit are separated in the offer. Currency, any deposit and payment terms are confirmed before ordering according to the commercial enquiry.

Which technical documents should I provide?

Include or email the single-line diagram, required ratings, installation constraints and network operator requirements. Available manufacturer drawings, data sheets and test reports are specified in the offer.

Can I request technical review before ordering?

Yes. State the points for review and required documents. Compatibility assessment and project approvals should be established with the relevant technical parties before accepting the configuration.

Does export from Tunisia mean Tunisian manufacture?

No. Manufacturing country depends on the reference. Switchgear shipped from Tunisia does not automatically acquire Tunisian origin or qualify for an AfCFTA or COMESA preferential certificate. Check the applicable evidence for the order.
