SikaSeal®-108 Sanitaire is a one-component acetoxy silicone sealant for joints between tiles and glazed or enamelled sanitary fittings. Its mould-resistant formulation suits washbasins, baths, showers and sinks. Substrates must be clean and compatible to create a flexible, continuous joint suited to wet-room cleaning.
Select a sealant for the materials, joint width, movement and exposure. Check primer and backing-rod requirements and colour. Joint sizing and preparation of the bonding faces are essential to maintain the intended adhesion and elastic behaviour.
