The product in detail

Sika® CarboDur® S NSM is a range of rectangular carbon bars for near-surface-mounted strengthening of concrete structures. They are installed in grooves close to the surface using the NSM technique and bonded with a suitable structural adhesive. This rectangular geometry must be distinguished from round rods when defining the system dimensions.

Structural strengthening requires assessment and design of the complete system. Geometry, fibre direction, anchorage and adhesives are defined against the substrate and loads. This reference belongs to an engineered process using the components and checks specified for the project.
