Indoor luminaires, industrial lighting, floodlights, street lighting, solar products and emergency lighting serve different configurations. Electrical wattage alone does not describe the required result. Specify the area to be lit, mounting method and luminaire characteristics so references can be compared, including the power supplies, controls or accessories needed for installation.

Information to include

• State area dimensions, mounting height, application and environment. Include luminous flux, colour temperature and specified characteristics where defined by the project.
• Specify supply, controls, dimensions and mounting method; for solar or emergency lighting, state the required operation and autonomy rather than deriving them from wattage.
• List quantities per reference, accessories and destination. Request available data sheets and photometric information to assess the offered product and prepare installation.
