Wall and façade paints, primers, floor coatings, and wood or metal protection form a system suited to the substrate. Identify surface condition, exposure and the required finish before comparing references. Distinguish primer from finishing coat and describe any existing layers: a similar colour does not establish the same application or compatibility.

Information to include

• Describe substrate, surface condition, indoor or outdoor use and exposure to water or wear. Include the existing system reference if you need a compatible addition.
• State colour, finish, area to be treated and preferred pack size. Coverage and coat count should be checked in the documentation for the selected product.
• List primers, finishes and complementary products separately, with quantities and destination. Request available data sheets to specify preparation and the contents of the order.
