MV/LV distribution transformers and 24 kV modular switchgear panels, with their connection accessories and cable joints, shipped in December 2024.
MV/LV distribution transformers Transformers and network equipmentMWB TRADING has shipped to N’Djamena since 2021, from Radès (Tunis) and also from Bizerte: electrical equipment, cables, building materials and construction equipment. As Chad has no coastline, our containers are discharged at the port of Douala, in Cameroon, with the bill of lading marked for transit to Chad.
This guide sets out the verified points for importing into Chad through Douala: Chad’s electronic cargo tracking note (BESC), the suspension of Cameroon’s BESC for transit cargo since June 2026, the corridor to N’Djamena and the CEMAC rules. Public reports show our loads for N’Djamena.

Chad requires its own electronic cargo tracking note (BESC, also called ECTN) for every sea shipment bound for the country: its number appears on the bill of lading and it must be validated before the vessel reaches Douala. Since 15 June 2026, the Cameroon National Shippers’ Council has suspended, until further notice, the Cameroonian BESC requirement for goods in transit to Chad. The commercial invoice, preferably in French, the packing list and, where needed, a certificate of origin certified by a chamber of commerce complete the file.
In Cameroon, the goods travel under the transit regime: duties are suspended under a customs guarantee and trucks are tracked by GPS until they leave the country. Duties and taxes are paid in Chad, a CEMAC member applying the common external tariff; Chadian customs process declarations in the ASYCUDA World system. For electrical equipment, attach the technical data sheets and test reports: they support the description of the goods at clearance.
